Workforce Development

QuantumCT is building a statewide workforce pipeline to prepare Connecticut residents for the opportunities emerging in the quantum economy. Through partnerships with community colleges, universities, workforce boards, and employers, we’re developing credential-based training, internships, and hands-on learning experiences that meet industry needs. Our pathways create multiple entry points and clear routes to high-growth careers in quantum, AI, and the broader advanced technology economy.

We take a holistic view of the workforce and employer engagement is central to this work. Our programs are designed to support people at every phase from K-12 and vo-tech students to community college learners, university graduates, and working adults seeking new skills.

For Students & Educators

QuantumCT is helping students and educators across Connecticut explore the future of quantum technologies — and the career opportunities they’re creating. Through curriculum partnerships with schools, colleges, and universities, we’re integrating quantum concepts into STEM and career programs, while also supporting professional development for faculty. Students can participate in hackathons, bootcamps, and hands-on learning experiences that make quantum approachable and relevant. Whether you’re teaching physics or engineering, exploring data science, or advising the next generation of innovators, QuantumCT provides the resources, connections, and inspiration to bring quantum learning to life.
